Karina Allrich's Gluten-Free Goddess blog features a multitude of gluten-free recipes as well as musings on living a gluten-free life.

Canille and Vanille is a fantastic blog filled with gluten-free recipes, both savory and sweet. Click here for an extensive recipe list and scroll all the way down for the savories.

Jeanette's Healthy Living (not my blog -- it's a different Jeanette!) is another great resource for gluten-free recipes. Jeanette also hosts a panel for gluten-free bloggers entitled "What Does Gluten-Free Mean to You?"

Gluten Free and More magazine has gluten-free recipes and articles on food sensitivities and allergies.

A May 2011 article in the Wall Street Journal details how tennis star Novak Djokovic's gluten-free diet improved his athletic performance.

Grocery Stores, Bakeries, and Restaurants

Co-opportunity in Santa Monica is a fantastic grocery store with many organic and gluten-free foods, as well as nontoxic household and beauty products.

The Rising Hearts Bakery in Culver City, CA, offers a variety of gluten- and dairy-free baked goods available for purchase in their store and online. Their website has many links to other gluten-free resources. 

Breakaway Bakery in Los Angeles prepares cookies, muffins, cupcakes, and more without gluten, soy, dairy, peanuts, guar gum, or xanthan gum.  They also sell mixes to take home with you. 

Erin McKenna’s Bakery specializes in vegan, gluten-free cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and donuts. They even make wedding cakes! Their Los Angeles locations are downtown and on Larchmont. 

You can order fresh gluten free pizzas, hot out of the oven, at Pitfire Pizza, and Fresh Brothers. Many trattorias now offer gluten-free options for their pasta dishes.

Udi's Foods makes bread, pizza crust, muffins and more. Available at Co-Op, Whole Foods, and Sprouts, in the refrigerator case.

La Tortilla Factory makes gluten-free wraps with tapioca, ivory teff, and millet flours. They can be ordered directly from the company and are available at some Whole Foods locations.

Sun Basket is a Los Angeles-based food delivery service that brings gluten-free, Paleo, and vegetarian meals right to your home.
