Scientists Say Eat Your Veggies to Avoid Early Death

All of my patients know that I recommend a mostly plant-based Paleo diet so this might not be news to them.

The global study reported that in 2017 alone, 11 million people died from poor nutrition and the associated health risks of heart disease, Diabetes, and Cancer. This shocking statistic is also closely related to poverty and access to affordable, healthy fresh fruits and vegetables and is a global issue that we must all address. I support organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation who are doing important work with poverty alleviation around the globe.
