While temperatures are dipping around the country (and, yes, even here in California!), many people find they have a hard time adapting. Fascinating research has emerged revealing that typical behaviors of drinking hot beverages, cranking the heat, and putting on a sweater do NOT help you warm up in the long term. What is the solution? Any activity that causes your body to shiver will help you to acclimatize -- like a cold shower!

I practice cold showers at the end of my shower….brrrr! It offers so many benefits; well worth 60 seconds of discomfort.
